Link Building this Summer
1 Aug
With my most recent blog post being a few months old, saying that I haven’t been blogging much recently would be an understatement. This probably won’t improve a lot this year, so please expect an irregular posting frequency for at least the next few months.
I’ll keep sharing my favorite stuff from the blogosphere every once in a while, with this being the best link building articles I’ve read during the past few months:
- Link building with the experts, the 2011 edition – Rae Hoffman-Dolan
- Content based outreach for link building – Justin Briggs
- The complete guide to link building with guest posts – Ben Wills
- Get over yourself and give me a link (please) – Debra Mastaler
- Competitor backlink analysis in Excel – Ethan Lyon
- Scalable link building for corporate websites – Jason Acidre
- 9 Ways you can improve your pitches to blogs & websites – Jeremy Bencken
- Link building tactics in 2011 – Ryan Clark
- Better understanding link-based spam analysis techniques – Justin Briggs

Definitely an understatement on the lack of blogging front! Thanks for the list though – haven’t read a couple of these so they’re on the reading list.
Thanks for the great list Wiep. Jason Acidre’s article on corporate SEO is a great read!
Finally! Even though it is a link list, It’s still a great post. Thanks for the list Wiep! Can’t wait until your blogging more regularly again :)
Thanks for this list, will have a good look through these. Keep it up.
Thanks Wiep for sharing your best link building articles. I especially liked the link building tactics 2011 by Ryan Clark, very informative.
Hi Wiep,
thanks for this list. Its great to have good advice. Worth its weight in Gold. Mary
I always feel like link building is like spinning plates. There are some gems of information within this list though which helps see the wood for the trees.
Even infrequent posts from you are much much better than frequent ones from most others. Thanks!
Great advice, I’ll be sure to check back.
Solid list, I’ve always liked Briggs’ stuff, awesome addition.
