A spammer with a conscience

When I wanted to clear the comment spam Akismet blocked during this week, I spotted something very funny: a spammer with a conscience.

I guess he’s having second thoughts about spamming the hell out of bloggers with his used car spam sites :)

Probably thesame spammer was attacking my blog, but i don’t believe for one second that he/she has a conscience, i think they’re just trying to circumvent akismet in every way possible.. On my blog, they tried by simply entering one url and one tiny message, no longer than 15 characters. Sometimes that message was ’sorry’, other times ‘nice’, etc. Those were the ones akismet thought was not spam by the way

I also don’t think he/ she has a conscience, but I thought it was funny to see a spammer trying to get past Akismet this way ;)

I’ve also been getting one that says: “Sorry, I have been paid to leave comments in your blog”. LOL, like I care.

Yea, its just them trying to get past the antispam blockers, and apparently, it works. In all seriousness, if people made a generic comment that would fit 90% of posts, they can get past most of the spam blockers.

Haha! I’ve seen the same kind of comments caught by Akismet on several of my blogs.

“Sorry for this:” followed by about 12 spam links.

I also spotted this kind of spam comments. If you analyze the psychology behind this you’ll see that the spammer tries to appeal your pitty.

Appeal to my pitty? No way!!! This is spammers trying to crack the spam filters response strings. What will be blocked and what can they get away with. Then they set up scripts to kill it.

Spammers + Scripting + Social Hacking = BAD NEWS!
