Link Building this Month (09.2010)
4 Oct
Although quite some verticals are still being dominated by link buyers with very deep pockets and (usually way too many) anchor text optimized links, it’s good to see and hear about more and more companies choosing for a more creative approach. And I don’t mean creative in finding new ways to buy links, but creative by, for example, turning citations into links or putting some effort in PR, in stead of just sending out a press release. That’s how you obtain valuable links that still have value in a year or two as well…

Hey, Wiep.
Thanks again for including me in the roundup.
I appreciate the exposure.

Love Hugo’s article, must admit I get dozens of link exchange requests still! Thought that most people had given up on them and the way they are written!
Main reason I came back here to WIEP was, one of my competitors has got a link on the BBC website – on the right nav http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7463741.stm
How the hell did he get that? He didn’t write the article, I know that much. Any ideas?
Good reads! Thanks for the links. Link building for established brands was a good one :)
